Cybersecurity and compliance services for businesses in Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad
Protect identities, devices, email, applications, cloud workloads and data, and be able to show how you do it. Layered controls, designed properly, deployed in phases and operated consistently.
How Askari Infotech helps
Attackers do not respect product boundaries, so your defences should not either. We design security as a connected system, starting with identity and extending through endpoints, email, applications, cloud workloads and data, using the Microsoft security technologies you may already be licensed for. The same controls also give you the evidence customers, auditors and regulators increasingly ask for.
Askari Infotech provides cybersecurity and compliance services to organisations in Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru (Bangalore) and Hyderabad. We assess where you stand, build a prioritised plan, deploy controls in phases that do not disrupt users, and can operate monitoring and response alongside your team.
A good fit if
- You hold Microsoft 365 or Azure licences with security features you have not fully switched on
- You want an independent view of your Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure security posture
- You need monitoring and response, but not a full in-house security team
- You need to show customers or auditors how you protect data
Cybersecurity and Compliance: what is included
Microsoft Defender XDR
Brings signals from endpoints, identities, email and cloud apps together so incidents can be investigated and contained in one place.
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
Endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management and attack-surface reduction for Windows, macOS, Linux and mobile devices.
Microsoft Defender for Office 365
Protection against phishing, malicious links and malicious attachments in email and collaboration tools.
Microsoft Defender for Identity
Detection of compromised identities and lateral movement aimed at on-premises Active Directory.
Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
Discovery of shadow IT, governance of connected apps, and access and session controls for SaaS applications.
Microsoft Defender for Cloud
Cloud security posture management and workload protection for Azure and multicloud environments.
Microsoft Sentinel
A cloud-native SIEM that collects security data at scale, detects threats and automates response.
Microsoft Entra ID
Multifactor authentication, Conditional Access and privileged-access controls for users and applications.
Microsoft Intune
Device compliance, configuration and app-protection policies for corporate and personal devices.
Microsoft Purview
Data loss prevention, sensitivity labels and retention to help protect sensitive information.
Security assessments
A structured review of your Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure posture against Secure Score and best practice, with a remediation roadmap.
Detection and response
Monitoring and response coordination built on Defender XDR and Sentinel, with escalation paths agreed in your service agreement.
Cybersecurity and compliance, together
Customers, auditors and regulators increasingly ask how you protect data. Well-configured security controls are most of the answer, provided they are documented and you can show them working.
Data protection with Microsoft Purview
Sensitivity labels, data loss prevention and retention across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams, designed around the information you actually hold.
DPDP Act readiness support
We help find where personal data sits in Microsoft 365 and Azure, tighten who can reach it, set retention, and put detection and response steps in place for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Access and identity controls
Multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, least-privilege roles and regular access reviews, so access matches need.
Audit logging and evidence
Sign-in, administrator and security logs from Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Defender and Sentinel configured and kept long enough to answer who did what, and when.
Security baselines and assessments
Secure Score and Microsoft Purview Compliance Manager assessments, turned into a prioritised remediation roadmap.
Audit and customer questionnaire support
Technical evidence and clear descriptions of your controls for security audits, tenders and customer security reviews.
What we do and do not do
We configure and document technical controls. We do not certify compliance or give legal advice: how the DPDP Act and sector rules apply to you stays with you, your legal counsel and your auditors.
Often confused: Defender for Cloud and Defender for Cloud Apps
Microsoft Defender for Cloud secures cloud infrastructure and workloads. Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps secures SaaS applications and how users interact with them. Most organisations need both, and we help you scope each correctly.
Never trust, always verify
Verify explicitly
Authenticate and authorise using every available signal: identity, device health, location and risk.
Use least-privilege access
Limit access to what each person and application needs, for only as long as they need it.
Assume breach
Segment access, encrypt data and monitor continuously so incidents are detected and contained quickly.
Network and endpoint security from other vendors
Where your environment includes products from other security vendors, we design and support them alongside your Microsoft controls instead of in isolation.

From first conversation to steady state
Assess
Review posture, licences and configuration against Microsoft best practice and Secure Score.
Design

Cybersecurity and Compliance: common questions
Do we need to replace our existing security tools?
Not necessarily. We start with what you already own and how it is configured. Many Microsoft 365 licences include security capabilities that are not fully deployed, and we design around those before recommending changes.
Can you make us compliant with the DPDP Act?
No one can do that from the outside, and we do not certify compliance. Compliance depends on your whole organisation, including legal, process and people. We help with the technical side: finding personal data in Microsoft 365 and Azure, controlling access, setting retention and putting detection and response in place.
Can you monitor our environment for us?
Yes. We provide monitoring and response coordination built on Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel. Scope, support hours and response targets are agreed in the service agreement.
Do you support non-Microsoft security products?
Yes. Where your environment includes Sophos or SonicWall products, we design and support them alongside your Microsoft controls.
Can you help us prepare for audits or customer security reviews?
We configure and document technical controls such as multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, data loss prevention and logging, and help you describe them. Passing an audit remains your decision and your auditor's, but well-documented controls make it easier.
