Cloud Migration: common questions
How long does a migration take?
It depends on scope. A small Microsoft 365 migration can take days; a multi-server Azure migration takes weeks or months. We give you a timeline after discovery, not before.
Will there be downtime?
We design cut-overs to keep downtime short and schedule them outside working hours where possible. Some systems need a short outage, and we agree it with you in advance.
Should we move everything as it is, or modernise?
Often a mix. Moving as it is gets you out of old hardware quickly. Modernising pays off for applications that will live a long time. We assess each system rather than apply one rule.
